Walk to Capistrano Beach Park
Bring the beach towels, chairs, toys, and cooler (which is available for your family to use). Go to the beach and enjoy your day!
Capistrano Beach Park is only 0.8 miles away. Take a 10 minutes walk with your family to the beach or drive there in three minutes. You will have to pay for parking if you decide to park at the beach ($1/hour).
Walk to Pines Park
You can take a nice stroll to Pines Park. It’s 0.6 miles away from the house. Have your kids play on the playground while you enjoy the beach view.
Visit Dana Point Harbor
Drive to Dana Point Harbor in 5 minutes (2.7 miles) and explore the area. Visit the shops, restaurants, and do other activities like whale watching, sailing, or hop on board the Catalina Express to get to Avalon, Catalina Island.
Hop on the Free Dana Point
This summer until Labor Day (Monday, September 4, 2017), the FREE Dana Point Trolley will be serviced with 5 open air style trolleys to ensure wait times are maintained at 15 minutes or less throughout the expanded route.
Capistrano Beach Park (stop #9) is one of the stops on the Dana Point trolley during the summer.
